HR ASSISTANT (2 Vacancies) - Posted 4/4/2011

Position Objective

This position is required to administrate employees’ salary & wage and claims into payroll system and ensure accuracy and timely processing of monthly salary payout.

He/She also responsible for all the administration matters relating to company uniform, insurance, recruitment, petrol card, stationery and etc.

Department : Human Resource

Reporting To : Assistant General Manager

  

Main Duties And Responsibilities :

  1. Recruitment and Selection
  • Involve in recruitment sourcing, screening applications and arranging interview.
  • Prepare offer letter for new recruit staff.
  • Issue and explain offer letter to new staff.
  • Facilities new staff induction schedule with all related departments.

    2.   Payroll Administration

  • Plan monthly payroll closing schedule and e-mail to all employees on the claim submission dateline.
  • Check all the employees’ claims according to company policy and eligible entitlements in Employee Handbook.
  • Upkeep employee database for new intake, resign or termination, confirmation, promotion, increment and upgrading.

    3.   Administrations

  • Responsible for preparing company letters such as confirmation, extension of probation period, acceptance of resignation, salary review, pre-employment check up and etc.
  • Handles company uniform issue, stock control and ordering.

    4.   Others ad-hoc work is assigned to you by your superior or management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Human Resource functions.
  • Sound knowledge in HR Policies, Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and other relevant Statutory Acts.
  • High level of accuracy and integrity is essential.
  • Familiar with payroll software administration.
