TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BRIDGESTONE POTENZA ADRENALIN RE005 HAZARD WARRANTY PROGRAMME

This RE005 HWP is only applicable to Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE005 distributed by Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and purchased from Bridgestone PRO, B-Select, Bridgestone Premium, BFP and BTTC dealers in whole Malaysia.

It is separate from the Bridgestone Tyre Warranty Programme that is applicable to all Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd tyres.

Eligibility

1. This HWP is valid for purchases of at least two (2) Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE005 tyres purchased within 6 months from the date of invoice, and minimum 5mm of tread remaining or 10,000km mileage, whichever comes first.

2. This HWP is only applicable to Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE005 distributed by Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and purchased from Bridgestone PRO, B-Select, Bridgestone Premium, BFP and BTTC dealers whole Malaysia only.

3. To ensure you are protected, kindly log on to https://hwp.bridgestonetyre.com.my/warranty_registration to register. Registration MUST be done within 7 days from the date of invoice. Bridgestone shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the registration or for registrations that are illegible, incomplete, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including electronic, computer, telephone, human or other error; including inability to access the website for registration. If any information provided on the registration is found to be false, misleading or inaccurate, that entry shall be deemed invalid.

4. This HWP allows you to get a new Bridgestone replacement* tyre when your Bridgestone tyre is damaged beyond repair due to:

a. Road hazards such as potholes, punctures or accidental mounting of kerb;

b. Cuts on tyre due to sharp objects (intentional damage not included);

c. Damage beyond repair on tyres that have previously been repaired.

5. This HWP excludes tyres manufactured more than 5 years before date on which the damage occurred (date of manufacture visible from tyre sidewall). This HWP also excludes tyre damage caused by:

a. Vehicle misalignment or wheel imbalance.

b. Collision or road accidents.

c. Defective brakes or absorbers.

d. Improper inflation pressure.

e. Overloading.

f. Wilful damage, vandalism or abuse.

g. Chemical contamination/degration caused by petroleum products or other chemicals, fire or other externally-generated source.

h. Compensated tyre(s) is/are not eligible for this HWP.

i. Manufacturing defect (dealt with separately under Bridgestone Tyre Warranty Programme and not this HWP).

j. All types of repairable damages (penetration damage – A tyre is considered unrepairable if the size of the puncture diameter is more than or equal to 6 mm, or puncture area is at the sidewall and/or shoulder of the tyre. Puncture repairs are limited to the center of the tread area.

k. Improper tyres inflation and/or improper load/speed practices.

- Negligent and abusive driving such as tyre spinning or racing.

- Vehicle collision accident, flood, fire, war, sonic booms, nuclear radiation.

- Excessive exposure to high temperature.

- Overloading, racing, competition, modifications of any sort.

- Misuse or misapplication

l. Improper mounting and demounting.

m. Improper stud size and/or installation.

 

Claims

6.a. All HWP claims should be made by contacting the participating Bridgestone dealer where you made the purchase.

b. Customers will have to present the following for any tyre claim under this HWP:

- a copy of the original purchase invoice;

- a copy or printout of the warranty registration record; and

- the damaged tyre.

c. The participating Bridgestone authorised dealer will inspect the damaged tyre to assess whether the tyre is damaged beyond repair and whether the damage is covered under this HWP.

d. If the tyre is preliminarily assessed as eligible, the participating dealer will submit the claim on behalf of the Customer, including the required tyre details and photographs of the damaged tyre, to Bridgestone for further evaluation.

e. In the event that the participating Bridgestone dealer where the tyres were purchased has ceased business, please contact Bridgestone Tyre Sales (M) Sdn Bhd at our Bridgestone Hotline No.: 1300-88-2168 (Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:30pm) for alternative arrangement on HWP inspection and claim.

f. Customers acknowledge and agree that no form of dishonesty shall be tolerated. Dishonesty includes, but is not limited to, counterfeiting invoices or receipts or using multiple identification numbers. If Customer is found to be dishonest, as determined in Bridgestone’s sole and absolute discretion, Customer shall forfeit any claim under this HWP.

g. Upon complete submission of the claim by the participating dealer, Bridgestone’s technical team will review the claim details and supporting documents. Bridgestone will use reasonable efforts to complete the technical review and decision within two (2) working days from receipt of a complete claim submission.

h. If the claim is approved and the tyre is confirmed to be damaged beyond repair and not due to reasons excluded under this HWP, a replacement tyre will be arranged and delivered to the participating dealer within five (5) working days for central dealer; and/or within seven (7) working days for outstation dealer, subject to stock availability at the dealer or manufacturer.

i.If the claim is rejected, Bridgestone’s technical team will inform the participating dealer and the customer of the reason for rejection.

j. The replacement tyre, if approved, shall be brand new and of the same size. Tyre pattern may vary depending on availability.

k. Cash refunds are not applicable under this HWP.

7. Any costs related to tyre installation or servicing (including labour costs) will not be included under this HWP.

8. Any determination made by Bridgestone’s technical team is final and binding. In the event of any dispute arising from this HWP or relating to the interpretation of these terms and conditions, the decision of Bridgestone on all matters pertaining to this HWP shall be final and binding on all parties. No correspondence will be entertained.

Miscellaneous

9. The Customer acknowledges that any personal data provided to Bridgestone pursuant to this HWP, including without limitation Customer’s name, ID number and address, will be used in order to process a claim under this HWP in compliance with the relevant data protection requirements.

10. The governing law for this HWP is the laws of Malaysia.

11. The parties agree that any dispute will be settled by good faith negotiation, failing which the parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd reserves the right to amend, modify, suspend or terminate part or whole of this HWP without prior notice and without any liability towards anyone.
