Bridgestone Malaysia redefines comfort with the new Turanza 6, the brand’s flagship comfort-oriented touring tyre, now offering improved performance.
Superseding the Turanza T005A, the new model brings targeted improvements in comfort, quietness, and wet handling.
Enhanced Comfort
Benefiting from Bridgestone’s ENLITEN technology, the Turanza 6 now offers lower rolling resistance through its lightweight design and optimized structure.
Paired with a softer NanoPro-Tech compound, it better absorbs vibrations and reduces impact forces, delivering a plusher ride with up to 8% more comfort than its predecessor.
A Quieter Ride
The Turanza 6 features a redesigned tread pattern that improves noise damping. S-shaped sipes reduce the amplitude of tread block vibrations, lowering the overall level of road noise.
Meanwhile, slit silencers allow air to flow through the grooves and dissipate, disrupting low-frequency resonance.
Additionally, the optimized block lengths reduce noise in both high and low frequencies by ensuring that sound generated from each block occurs at slightly different pitches. This creates a broader, less concentrated noise spectrum for a quieter ride.
Combination of these tread pattern elements also deliver up to 8% quieter ride compared to its predecessor.
Superior Wet Performance
Combining the redesigned tread pattern with a new contact shape, the Turanza 6 disperses water more efficiently, reducing hydroplaning and improving wet handling by up to 14%.
Equipped with ENLITEN technology, it enables the Bridgestone Turanza 6 to be the best of both worlds, suitable for both conventional petrol cars and BEVs.
