The black-and-green #37 Deloitte TOM’S Toyota GR Supra running on POTENZA Racing tyres and piloted by Ukyo Sasahara and Giuliano Alesi, executed a flawless ballet of strategy, speed, and sheer nerve to take victory.
Starting fourth on the grid, their triumph marked Toyota’s seventh consecutive GT500 victory, eclipsing a 26-year-old record held by Honda.
In the GT300 category, the #52 Green Brave GR Supra fought off fierce competitors to clinch the runner-up spot on the podium.
POTENZA Racing rubber enabled the team to maintain a blistering pace throughout the race, whilst maintaining reliability under the hot track conditions.
With a clean sweep of the podium in GT500, these achievements reaffirm our status as the tyre of choice for champions in Japan’s premier racing series.

With two 10-lap sprints held over the 2025 SUPER GT Malaysia Festival weekend, 22 drivers were split across two distinct classes, dubbed Pro-Am and Clubman, duking it out for glory.
